The Tractor Supply Company needed a new site for their business in Cranberry, Pennsylvania and Walltek Design Build, Inc. was part of the team to begin the development.  Walltek installed the segmental block retaining wall system to raise the grade of the site so the general contractor could begin building the retail development and the parking lot.

Because the construction began during the winter months, the elements were a challenge.  Walltek needed to install frost blankets on the reinforced backfill overnight so it would not freeze.  If frost occurred it could create compaction issues that would slow the installation.

This successful project was completed for the customer on schedule and within budget.
